Group Show

A pioneer in promoting the Korean art scene for nearly twenty years, our gallery will occupy stand N1 with a selection of exceptional works, showcasing the Dansaekhwa movement through three generations of artists, complemented by the unique vision of a master photographer.

  • Kim Guiline (1936-2021), a pioneer of Dansaekhwa, transcends monochrome to create meditative surfaces that invite deep introspection.
  • Lee Bae (1956), an emblematic figure of the second generation, explores the materiality of charcoal in abstract compositions where light and texture engage in a powerful dialogue.
  • H.K. Kwon (1977) continues this legacy with a contemporary approach, transforming the landscape into a mental space conducive to contemplation.
  • Echoing this sensibility, Bae Bien-U (1950), considered the greatest Korean photographer, will unveil images of sacred forests, where pine trees, like strokes of traditional calligraphy, embody a spiritual harmony between man and nature.
